Sighs... 3,500 miles and I picked up a squeak toy.
It is not in the suspension, I will be dropping the skid plate later once the wife gets home so she can move the vehicle while I am under it.
Went to the dealer for this and to have the alignment checked, it was off from day one.

Service advisor comment " well ain't THAT annoying. come back next Tuesday.

Mine squeaks when I do this. Not nearly as bad. Never thought about an alignment. Might explain why one of my tires is wearing.

Do you hear the squeak when driving?

What makes you think it's not somewhere in the suspension?

I have had a couple of cab mounts at the core support to frame make that noise. Every one has been on the left side. The rubber mount wears though the side and the core support rubs the metal sleeve on the mount.

Yes, I do hear it while driving BUT..only when hitting things like turns or off camber like turning into a driveway..not at all just cruising down the road.

I removed the skid plate but I cannot shake the truck underneath from side to side like I was in the vid where I was pushing the cab with the drivers door open.
It still makes the noise so it is nothing related to the skid plate.
The noise is up and center not at the A arms.
Have to wait till wifey gets home later to have her shake the truck while I am under it.

The alignment was a tad off (steering wheel off center) from day one, I figured I would get that taken care of at first service.

I did change the oil and filter though, thought it best to do little things myself. It is rather hard to see the oil level on the dipstick with new oil....scuffed up one side of the stick and that helped.

How funny. Today, I literally did the EXACT same thing as you. All I have is sliders.

    BTW, 12.3k miles.

    Subbing for resolution

Well.... my little wife wasn't strong enough to get the truck swaying from side to side via the drivers door area.
BUT...I got it moving she took over, I sniveled my hand down in through the labrinth of plastic and can feel the squeak at the left front body to frame mount. Problem is, it is behind so much plastic I need to remove the inner fenderwell to get to it.
Then I can loosen and hit it with lithium, graphite or anti seize.

    sighs.....

Soooo this mornings commute and the ratt has left the taco...no more squeak !! I guess my copious application of JB80 on that bod to frame mount soaked in overnight and VOILA silencio.

One thing I forgot to mention... while I was at the Toyota dealer yesterday I saw a flat bed semi pull in with a load of frames....I would NOT want to be the mechanic doing THAT job.

believe it or not a lot of the toyota tech actually dont mind doing the frame swaps, at least the bunch I have spoken with that has been doing them since the 1st gens...

its rather straight forward, and in a lot of cases they are just cutting rusted out parts and installing new parts along with fresh the new frame...

We have 2 guys here that do the frame swaps. Takes about a day and a half and pays close to 40 hours. So they don't mind them at all. I have been doing a lot of the frame sprays. Pays good. Not hard work, but is a bit messy.

OP, may want to get that mount replaced once it starts squeaking again. The rubber gets rubbed through and then it is just metal on metal.

    Suqeeeeekkkkk
    Sighs....
Not sure the dealer adding a new body mount and spacer will cure the problem, it will still be off center.
Unless they take the time to loosen the all the body mounts to re align the left front??
I suspect a die grinder to oblong the hole....

you wont hurt anything by spraying wd40 freely... it might help mask the noise and then you know where the problem is when it comes back.

that dealership is lazy if they turning work away because of suspension...

unless you have some really janky shit suspension like hockey pucks and like welding springs together or something lol...

It sounds like they’re just being lazy the squeak is heard in the front no where near the suspension I have the eibach pro kit but the squeak was heard before I even installed the new suspension it just got worse that’s why I wanted to take it in but they refused
