So if you take off the intake to swap the plugs, you can reuse the gaskets?

    My shit is all stock.
I reused the ones on mine a few weeks ago when I did plugs. No leaks. I do however have a new lid gasket ready to go if I need it tho. Cheap-ish insurance.

Upon reassembly, the orange foamy seal for the intercooler needed to be cleaned and reattached to the intercooler. I wiped it with a rag that’d been sprayed with brake cleaner until it was clean enough to be FIPG’d to the intercooler. Just smeared a thin layer and stuck it in place then bolted the lid on.

Yes 100% I have over 10 years with the TRD SC. No problems with the intake manifold gasket or innercooler lid by any means. And I’ve taken my blower off more than most peeps. However, the innercooler foam sealer will break down eventually. Just a matter of time whether you maintenance it or not.

That thing gets pretty darn oil soaked... I strongly agree with this. The lid is easy enough to take off anyways so screw it, why not?

My plugs had something like 50k. When replacing them some of the electrodes were nearly completely gone. So at 100k, yes, definitely.

Be ready for stuff to be bad then (ie the intercooler gasket rubber that seems to always fall off when you remove your lid.

    Carb cleaner usually.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has some misfiring going on right now at 100k on original Iridiums.

I had noticeable occasional misfiring at 50k. I'm definitely going to a far shorter change interval.

I keep mine well below 30K regardless of the pulley and tune knowing what I know now.

It could be worse. We could be changing them at every oil change 3K like the Cobra owners. Lol.

I understand what your say but the issue is the squeal does start till I hit 3000revs. I have changed all the idle pulleys, I installed a new tensioner and pulley and new belt. To me it’s iust slipping under load which is weird. Never had this on my old engine.

Which belt is making the noise, engine accessory drive belt or supercharger drive belt?

Also, here is a stupid question, but are you running your AC when this is occuring or is it an all the time thing?

What size pulley are you running and what size belts are you running?
