Buy an aftermarket air locker (ARB, etc).

And do your research before you buy next time.

OK, then there wasn't much you can do about that.

But yeah, aftermarket lockers are your best bet.

No, there is a button on the left side of your dash next to your steering wheel that says "TRAC" or something of that nature, is there not? Push that and you should see a light come on that says "AUTO LSD"

Read your owner's manual. They don't put it in the truck as a paperweight; believe it or not it will actually tell you things about the truck you now own.

Before you buy an aftermarket locker, assess whether you really need one or not. 90% of the guys on here with a locker don't wheel hard enough to actually need one.

WHA??!! A voice of reason?! I thought lockers were mandatory if you had a truck?

OP: Listen to this guy. He speaks the truth.

lol...no, don't just leave it on forever. In fact, I wouldn't ever hit that button unless you were on some slippery surface. Just leave the button alone and you'll have traction control on, which will be fine 99% of the time.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    A locker isn't a guaranteed "get un-stuck automatically" device.

I've had my Sport 4x4 (with the LSD) through some thick, wet Kansas clay on the stock Dueler HT tires, and never even got close to stuck. Just sayin'.

EDIT: I don't even think a locker's strength is in the mud anyways, is it? (someone with more experience can chime in here)

Correct. Doesn't do much good if neither wheel has traction.

Or if you're really worried, you can put that money towards some A/T tires that will do even better in the clay and mud and will improve the looks of your truck.
