they started charging $5 per vehicle listings. Ive seen people put them into the parts section. But I agree, not what it used to be

Buying used also makes it easier for me to justify owning more than one bike. For example a new one might cost $10k but instead you could find 2 nice lightly used bikes for $5k a piece.

They might be older but a lot of times the models don't change very drastically over a few years. I'm also ok with not having the latest and greatest.

I flip vehicles all the time. CL def blows that its $5 but it still has a place as annoying as it is...however FB marketplace is wayyyy better as of now, I've sold many more vehicles that way over any other site

edit: for your viewing pleasure...its primarily cars we like, as my dad and I got our NYS dealers license/plate for fun...but I have done a handful of bikes..here was a beaut I hated to let go last summer...

its hit or miss for me. I have stuff on there now, and no hits on it for 5+ weeks. Then when I want to buy something, it gets sold within the hour.

I think I finally decided on an upgrade (when I’m ready): the CBR600F4i.
They can be had for relatively cheap, but they have great reviews and are fuel injected to boot.
Plus, I love the way they look.

I can’t afford a newer CBR, so this might be my next step. I just have to find one.

I like the 01-03 because of the split seat. But I think they had some battery issues

I remember my buddy got a brand new 2001 F4i as a graduation gift from his parents. He beat the hell out of that thing and it didn't quit

I 100% agree the first gen w the split seat is the way to go on an F4i...but at this point cant you get an early cbr600RR for the same price? aren't 05s like $3k? better front forks, better swingarm, better FI system, underseat exhaust, lighter, looks cooler, all that jazz - no?

in NYS? pretty annoying. lots of inspections, have to spend a bunch of $, have a physical location all that bullshit. You're in MT? no clue. you prob just have to fire a revolver in the air 3x and eat 4 huckleberries.

and @kcuv is totally correct, at this point a 2007+ cbr600rr can be sourced for under 5k in great shape with relative ease in searching...
