My 1976 LesPaul Recording, and My Brothers 1962 Gretsch Tennessean.
I want to sell em and get a Gretsch Duojet, Silverjet or Chet Atkins Roundup.
The best of both worlds !

    Good stuff!
The Recording has all kind of fancy buttons and knobs. Out of phase switch? And low impedance pickups to go directly into a tape machine.
    Les was quite the tinkerer.

This guy also did a quick review of my Roadstar 1300NT. Ollie?

Yes, surgery sucks! I had my shoulder surgery last Monday. Started physical therapy yesterday, woke up this morning (in my recliner, where I have to sleep) and it hurts like F***. Had work nightmares all night.
I miss playing my guitars already. Might have the wife bring my Lester out, for me to look at, and smell the nitro finish, lol.
@Matic, If before you pick a surgeon, find out their policy on post-surgery pain meds.
Some are pretty reluctant to hand out the good sh*t. Trust me on this.

I hear you. I wish you a speedy recovery my friend.
I'm hoping it's not rotator cuff stuff but I'm leaning in that direction.
What really worries me is what feels like the peripheral neuropathy. I keep hearing a commercial on the radio and it sounds exactly like it.

Luckily, if it is, this commercial offers some new type of cell regenerative solution with no surgery.

But if the rotator cuff damaged the nerves and caused the PN, then obviously they will have to address that first.

    Wishing you well.

@Deathray, bring a guitar out, that's what I did, it helps. Layed it across my lap and fiddled with it unplugged.

So yes, in reference to you comment on the recording. It was an experiment that didn't take off in the 70's
Les Paul had actually used this equipment on his personal guitar, and convinced Ted McCarty to apply low impedance pickups
in a Les Paul, Thus the recording was born along with the Personal and Professional Les Paul models.
They didn't sell well and faded into Gibson History.
However, Les Paul said himself this was his favorite Les Paul model.

If yall ever get the chance to see Mike Zeto do it. He plays Jimmy Hendrix better than Jimmy Hendrix. He plays world wide and resides here and plays small venues at home.

Canceled my trip to Ohio to visit family.
Hadn't been feeling well since Saturday and it's only getting worse. No way I want to be around my folks/gram, even if it's just a common cold.

Also had 5 more employees at work yesterday who were denied entrance because of fever.

Guess I'll chill for the next 6 days off work.

Buddies mom stopped by the other nite.
He had told me, but to actually hear the stories from her...wow.

She was in the music industry for years!
Met and hung out with a lot of amazing people.
    Saw the world.
Moved up here when she retired. Couldnt take the rat race anymore.

    Pretty cool chick.
