Is all this concern with the MAF special to the 3.4? I've never had an issue in my 2.7... I technically have 2 spares from previous motors but they're sitting unbagged in my mess of extra parts :anonymous:

Should i hold them in better reverence and start cleaning/swapping them out?

I don't think a 3.4 MAF is any worse than anything else. I got into the habit of doing it many years before I bought a Toyota. The idea is just to keep a known working OEM on the shelf because I wouldn't want to wait for an order in the mail or get ripped by the dealer in the event one goes out.

I would at least bag them up, if the sensor gets too dirty or gets touched by something and out of whack then the whole thing is no good

was the vibe not right last night? :D

aside from being more hungover than I'd like I'm doing alright, feels like a huge weight has been lifted and the house feels a lot more open.

like you mentioned on Irate it seems like a small price to pay for the sanity/effort saved in trying to make your own crossmember. I know some of the SAS guys are die-hard on making their own brackets etc but letting someone else do the hard work is OK with me :D

goddamnit, was interested in another trailer and she says the lights and brakes do work...but the trailer pigtail was cut off and it needs to be spliced into a new one. Why not mention that in the ad?

Trailer is cheap so I'm considering the work (only seven wires, right?). sounds like a huge PITA if the trailer isn't wired right, though. Also driving across town with no lights sounds shitty

They make the lights that you can plug in with long wires to the back for temp use.

I knew the trailer would need work from the pics showing the new brakes being wired in with wire nuts, contemplating how much work I'm willing to do. Probably need to just rewire the whole thing but I suppose it's feasible to cobble it together before this weekend

One's for the maf with built-in sensor and the other is for just the sensor.
