Apparently I need to stop trading at work. I meant to pick up 1500 shares of NRGU in my play account. It was a good plan. Turns out in between making the order and yelling at my crew I accidentally made that purchase in my IRA. Then, of course, I had to get them in my play account. Guess who now owns 3000 shares of NRGU.

 

AstraZeneca is down from where it was when it announced it was working on a vaccine, had success in pig trials, and signed like 800 million in contracts to provide vaccine to Europe. Another 100 million plus deal with Brazil, and WHO saying its vaccine is in the most advanced stages and most likely candidate. None of that has lifted the stock. The smaller drug companies just get bigger boosts from this stuff I guess

 

That's also how politicians lose their job...when they accidentally text their wife thinking it's their girlfr....boyfriend...

 

edit: Y'all....If we end today flat, we have two more days.....I could have my prediction correct

 

I sold my NRGU this morning for just that reason. Had a busy day and a house closing so I wouldn't be able to keep an eye on it. Glad I did now... sold at 4.1

AZ did the same yesterday closing ("pausing the reopening of") bars, gyms, water parks, movie theatres, and a few other things targeting 20-44 year olds since that's where our spike is occurring.

 

Unfortunately this will likely become a trend.

 

I believe this is an exact model for what's going to be happening in most schools....we need to slash and burn every once in a while...however, it's just bonkers to have bars open with people all jambed in with each other...But the flare ups are going to happen. I think gyms should be open for equipment use with cleaning, but with masks. Water parks???WTF????

 

The county I live in has had inside restaurant seating for about a month. Now it’s back to takeout and delivery.

 

Kind of like the alternate fuel companies now. Everyone is in a race to get established as the cornerstone and all us plebs are betting on the players

Yep. There's no possible way the spikes we are seeing in certain cities had anything to do with large gatherings of "protesters". WTF did people think was going to happen. Oh, that's right, most people don't think. lol

 

Nope...I've heard from some very reputable individuals that it was because of people getting together for Memorial day...Oh, and you're not permitted to ask if anyone participated in gregarious chanting in large groups when contact tracing in NY...

 

That was funny as hell.

I keep looking at WTI and getting bummed. It needs to break and hold $40. Without that I don't see oil companies moving up. By proxy that means I'm stuck with in a long hold on NRGU. Sound familiar. lol
