at home it's usually a band or dart shirt, or a sleeveless..jorts and Vans. Work it's slacks, collared shirt or sweater, boots or shoes.

Won't be doing that for a while though, building is closed until at least January..been closed since early March. Not bad at all this time of year b/c I can go for a swim at lunchtime

I’ll be in the area in a couple weeks. We’re staying in Nashville on the NE side.
We’ll also be going to Franklin (gotta see Ramsey Solutions). Glad to know broadway may not be all that.

Do you guys ever get up, workout, then go to log your workout in your spreadsheet only to find out today was a rest day?

I don’t really have total rest days which is probably why.

I got up and ran this morning and realized today was a no run in the AM and lift in the PM.

You underestimate me. I went to Charleston for a week, and if you’ve ever been to Charleston, you know the food scene is amazing.

My rest day is Sunday. I look forward to it most because I get to eat a bowl of cereal in place of my usual carbs and I LOOOOOOVE cereal...

But to your first point. No. I don't log workouts post workout. I always know the plan as I am going in. Otherwise I'll just dick around and not get anything done. Or like one day last week, lay down on the floor to foam roll and take a 45min nap instead :anonymous:

I started a new routine. I run 6 days a week now. I started running Mon and Friday in the AM and lift in the PM Mon Weds Friday.
I was so tired last night I set the wrong alarm, got up early and ran. Wasnt till almost lunch I realized fuck wasnt supposed to run.

Telework has my days and times all fucked up too.

Ended up skipping the gym anyways. Mowed the lawn and now drinking a pinneapple IPA instead.

I had a sweet working from home gig for 3+ years before my manager up and left and I got shifted under a tyrant who demanded we come in to the office. It completely fucked up my routine I had built over that 3 years and eventually led to her “letting me go” because we did not get along (at all). After a brief unemployment I got a new job but it also required me to come in to the office. Had only been there Dec-Feb when Covid came along and sent us all home. I LOVE working from home. I spend maybe 10 hours per week actually working and the rest of the time I’m lifting, sleeping, or learning how to dad. I dread every corporate email I see that even mentions the current status of the office buildings.

i did however have a talk with my manager last week and he said he doesn’t expect us back in 2020 and even if we do go back, he’ll let me stay home because I have a newborn
