For me, yes. Since the 1.05 release, there have been specific MT features. 2.0 has even more.

On the worth it side, not only does the motor feel like a normal V6 now, but there should be a small MPG bump that will pay the money back over time.

Sorry for the late reply - all good and love the 2.0. PM me and lets sync up. If you have the manual, we will need to update your ECU first but we can chat -

I'm on the East Side of seattle with the 04b14 on a 2016 MT. @cameleon50 Did the flash. It has been driving great so far compared to the 04B11 I was on.

Since I decided to try the NEW 04b14 for MT there isn't an ovt 2.0 final for it yet. Soon we hope!

So far with about 50 miles of driving on the new 04B14 MT tune i have noticed that the VVT has been tamed and cleaned up. Its not as much of a hard jerky hit as you run thru second gear into high rpm.... The whole acceleration seems cleaner and stronger. On the low end it has seems to pick up some umphh. Starting from a stop is much cleaner and easier to do at low rpm. This will make crawling even better.

All that aside... beer? meet ups? test drives? fun to be had? I'm game! I have already told @cameleon50 I will be the guinea pig.

Did they lower the price for the OVTune? Am I missing something here, seems like it's now half price on their site...

04B14 is out in the Tune Packs. I've been running it for a couple weeks.

If you would like to get tuned, I can help you out:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ovt-flash-feelers.672354/

If you already have an OVT Flash Kit, then you just have to get vF for the discounted price and request the 04B14 Tune Pack.
