That was the goal. My exterior is white and badges are bronze, so I wanted to continue that inside.

Installed my bed mat and gave her a bath.

 

What I did.....was decided to keep it.
Sounds silly, but I’ve been debating upgrading to a full size for various reasons, and when I made up my mind to trade it in I was content....until I seen other Tacoma’s driving around which made me sad. Like honestly depressed that I was getting rid of it.
So I decided to keep it, make sacrifices in other areas and upgrade this truck where I can for some qol improvements.

 

I know a lot of people NEED a full size. I've driven a few. I'm much happier tooling around in my Taco and it does everything I need it to do.

Definitely worth looking into. I love my SS3 fog pods. I know I have a 2nd gen, but I figured I would share the love with all tacos.

 

Nothing major today but well worth it. Was at Toyota today and happened to see black wheel locks so i grabbed a set of those and 4 bags of black lug nuts came home and put em all on.

The lug nuts come as sets of 6 so if you order you need a quantity of 4

 

Didnt bend me over. Not mine but they're trying to sucker someone. Offering the truck at $5000 off but still too high.

Is it any better than stock? Actually heavier? And how difficult was the install?

 

The CBI T3 bumper with the low bar also doesn’t affect the TSS

 

Yeah I got my sport for less than that with many extras too. I dont think they've gone up that much but I also didnt examine the breakdown of extras listed on the truck. I think they've just marked it up that much. I wouldn't pay that price.

Added some stiffeners from @At The Helm , bedrug , oem led bed lights and oem header rail

 

Replaced chrome rear bumper caps with aftermarket ones from Ebay. Much better look IMHO yeah I didn’t replace with OEM but whatever I can live with that. For ~ $120 not a bad upgrade from that horrific chrome plastic.




Also popped off chrome door badge and replaced with probably knockoff black ones - not overlays. Another upgrade I can live with not being OEM.
