I'm a cabinet maker and carpenter who needs to haul boards every once a while. I want to be able to haul canoes and kayaks too. I have a factory tonneau cover which I would like to be able to keep. Is there anyone who has a ladder rack with factory tonnea cover?

I saw one on a tundra yesterday. So they are out there. I assume you want cross bars up above the cab and not one of the rtt style bed racks?

I would need to have brackets that extend past tonneau cover to be functional. I also need to be above cab to have enough clearance for boats.

Not quite what you are looking for but maybe helpful.
I have the factory tonneau cover and Rolla Haul Your Might rack. I modified the Rola mounts to fit over the tonneau mounts. That allows to use me either the rack or the tonneau. I can swap them in under 10 mins.
