No, you don't need either. You just bolt the kit up and enjoy it.

its a 2" lift all around without any AAL or replacement leaf packs? Thinking about getting this kit and adding the OME Dakar leaf packs later on

You’d still need to run a AAL or full leaf pack to get that lift in the rear

For what it's worth: I put an AAL on my DCLB and initially I'm seeing nearly 3" gained on both sides (and I have a cap & roof rack w/ bike trays).

Looks amazing. Do you happen to have any side shots of your setup?

Looking at this kit--why does it say 0-1" in the rear? I thought only the leafs, whether an AAL or new pack, did the lifting. I have the Alldogs Offroad leaf pack and don't want any additional lift in the rear

They mean that the shocks will work with a rear lift of 0-1”. I believe they are actually okay with up to 2”, but any higher you would need some extended length shocks.

Really so I'd have to go more high end like Bilstein 5160? Right now I have the Alldogs leaf pack on the medium configuration and that gives me 3" in the rear. Currently on 5100s too.

I’m pretty sure they will work, but I’m not the right person to be asking. I’m not currently running the Eibach setup myself. I know they work with other leaf pack replacements from what I’ve read about them.
