    Best home made stuff I've ever had in my life; she makes me about 1 loaf of it per month when her husband don't eat it all :rofl:

    You have a different group of people out there. Or my dealer is just run by assholes. We get nothing from customers. (Except the dude that brought me the 24 pack of corona for fixin up his runner!)

    Going to sound like I'm blowing my own horn but in short; I've been sick and tired (for years) hearing from the general population how dealerships suck in so many ways.

    I've made it a personal goal ever since I made the career change, to be different in all aspects and accept (since I started) that the only reason why we are in business, is because of customers.

    I'll be the first to kick you out if you are out of line, but on the other end of the spectrum, you'll come to make me your "go to" guy because I ensure everyone is taken care of.

    Whether it's dealing with my service department or parts, or through my department when you're buying a vehicle, you're my number 1.

    Yea... that’s not how it works here. Hell they brag about how they get people into used cars for 8k more than they’re worth!

    @Empty_Lord

    You have to remember all the different talks you and I had regarding how I'd change the many things in your own service department.

    I'm only a finance director, but I'm familiar with all aspects of the dealership.

    It's easy to spot what's being done wrong and what should change; the employees themselves need to accept that change though

    That all sounds legit to me. I'd have no reason to believe otherwise from you:fistbump::D

    Profit isn't a dirty word and I'd happily tell customers in what ways money is made; profit is only a "bad" thing if you make it as such. We need to stay in business, bottom line.

    We also have a cap on the profit allowed for all items to keep it fair for our customers.

    Hell, we don't have markups on any vehicle either and that included the launch edition Vipers and even the Demon.

    Stems from a few things;

    Make people realize not every dealership is the same

    I want to provide the service, honesty, and most importantly the transparency I'd want in return if I was a customer of yours

    The flooring I posted about last year that I got done at my house? I got it from a customer that bought a car from us.

    Yesterday when I posted possibly getting a vehicle bed lined? I got the contact from a customer that bought a truck from us too.

    I like to return business to those customers as well

    What's the Lexus part # for the drain plug? Was it for a GX470 or something like that?

    I respect your build thread too much to go way off topic :thumbsup:

    On the other hand, if it's a suspension thread, let the derailing begin after 40s and tons are suggested.
