LEAVE IT ALONE and de-badge the tailgate as well!!! The badges (chrome or black) suck, IMO (but my opinion and $1.00 will get you a large drink at McDonald's!).

Seriously, the badges are adhered to the truck with adhesive tape strips. When you wash your truck or it gets rained on they will stay wet against the paint for a long period...especially if the weather is cool to cold.

For a moment before I saw the picture I was ecstatic, but "that's not" the bumper that two of us are looking for. The bumper that Tom and I are looking for is the Slimline with a Reese style 2" receiver tube that accepts a hitch. Same bumper that you once offered but discontinued making.

Wish I had a picture. At one time you had it shown in your product line. Oh well, still hoping.
Appreciate the fact that you've taken notice as well as taking the time to respond.

Piece of cake install, Pulling up on the bumper cover to get the tabs of the caps out is the hardest part. After you do one side and know what to expect the second side takes a few minutes.

Rust-belter here. I can't recall ever having rust form under the badges on any vehicle I've owned. Everywhere else, yes. Rust up to the badges (even windows), yes. Do what you want, but this isn't a concern.

    A growing list of stuff
You might want to check that they actually have it in stock before hitting the order button with them....

I ordered up a Meso vent ring kit in black when they were the only ones who "had it in stock". Then they email me letting me know that the part is out of stock and they would have it in stock in a few days. Well, 36 days later I requested that the order be refunded since I had enough of waiting. I ordered up a set of MGM vent rings direct from Meso at that point. 6 days later Caliraised went ahead and finally cancelled the order.

It's a much easier job when you remove the black step bumper first. Took me a while to figure that out lol. After that it's a snap, pun intended.

Should have watched this video first, then started the job. The first 2:55 of that video is all anyone needs to see to remove bumper end caps correctly and easily.

As a former F02 owner myself, I sometimes get misty eyed at not driving that car...when it wasn't at the dealer getting something fixed under warranty (def got my $$ worth buying that BMW certified pre owned powertrain warranty. Probably added $3000 to the final price of the car but I easily got $20,000+ in repairs).

I still have nightmares at the mere mention of valve stems and low oil dash warnings. It drove like a dream when it was on point, tho...

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
When my Weathertechs wear out, I am going to be trying a set of the Huskys. I really like that thick chunk of material by the gas pedal. That's where the heel of my shoe always wears through mats first.

 I actually considered a "pre-owned" F02 at one point. Glad I didn't go there.

That was one of the reasons why I went for them when they were on sale. Having worn through my share of carpet mats (and floor carpeting) over the years, something more robust is needed.

I see you’re in Portland, what dealer? I went to Tonkin last Friday asking for black lugs and they said no dealer in the area had them.
