anyone notice after a stretch of driving, that there catch can isnt capturing much vapor? I recently drove from Denver to LA, open the can shortly arriving and there was hardly any oil inside. Wonder if my PC Valve is going bad? (although there is still a strong vacuum when I try to lift the dip stick on the catch can).

It’s the main belt that is squealing. Not the sc belt.
    I’m not running the aircon.
Using a dayco belt that is standard for this engine. Not sure if the model number but I can find out.
Standard pulleys for everything. Haven’t changed any. Only pulley I have changed in the sc pulley but that belt is fine.

Take the spray bottle like @zippsub9 mentioned, and squirt the belt as it's running from the side of the of the engine compartment, by where the AC compressor is. If the noise goes away then it is belt related, not bearing related. I have a feeling that your accessory drive belt is the issue because Dayco belts have a track record of being built of inferior materials.

Also as a footnote, the OE accessory drive belt is made by Bando, not Dayco. The Supercharger belt is the one made by Dayco.

Interesting. They must hold a different contract for the belt manufacturer of OEM in different regions of the world. Out here in North America it is a Bando.

Switch to Gates for sure. A standard Century series should do the trick just fine. Before you do that though use the spray bottle. I'm almost confident it's the Dayco belt which is your issue, but this will just solidify those thoughts.

I believe the part number should be K070835 for Gates.

If you are feeling adventurous run an RPM series belt, I would not run a Fleetrunner, however, as I have experienced heartache with those for some reason (at least on the accessory drive belt side of things) it is possible I got a very old belt because it started cracking quickly, but who knows.

    #catchcanproblems lol.

I wish I could be of help here brother, but I can't because I don't own one, you may want to consider time for a new PCV though as you mentioned, but other than that, I am of no help to you.

My can varies in the quantities that it catches. I never thought much of it. I empty it every oil change and forget about it in between.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
This, but mine is consistently full at the oil change period. There is a dipstick on it to check.

Pressure washer followed by a thorough cleaning of the intercooler lid followed by a cleaning and re-glueing of the intercooler gasket surround. All other gaskets are reused unless damaged. Order them if you'd like, but they should be good to go for re-use (intercooler lid gasket, standard intake manifold gaskets)

Be careful with removal and reinstallation of the cap. Easy to strip the threads, if you over torque them.

I had two holes on the cover that I apparently over-torqued at some point. I had the blower off recently and heli-coiled the stripped ones. Much safer to do the thread repair while the blower is on the work bench to avoid stray metal shavings getting into places where you don't want them to be.

I ended up ordering Denso iridium tough VKH22 since mine is more of a daily driver and longevity rated for 100k miles. The ruthenium really piqued my interest. I messaged NGK about a possible ruthenium fitment application for ours. Jan 2021 isn't too far off.

I took my catch can off. It never seemed to catch all that much oil and just created an additional maintenance step. Not worth the additional complexity, hassle and engine bay clutter for my needs.

Good news, maybe they'll make one with the correct resistance.

I don't see an issue running the one myself and @BillDaCat8 are. Mine is my daily (which I have currently logged close to if not more than at this point) 1500 miles on. They are correct thread pitch for the heads, the overall height of the plug fits fine on our coils, the heat range is correct, it's PSPE just as desired for a forced induction application and everything runs just fine. The resistor values for it is may be "wrong" but I have noticed is no notable interference with electronics including the radio while running these. If there was going to be any issues with them we would have noted them by now. :notsure: Lol @ NGK for not realizing these will work for ours.

Give me the email they are messaging them on @jamesepoop so I can inform them of what is currently known.

I know they fit, and good on y'all for being the pioneers. I don't yet perceive enough of a benefit to jump on the bandwagon, myself.

Better fuel economy perhaps? When I switched over to these I was still running the 2.3 and the only outside variable was the new plugs for several hundred miles. I went from obtaining a consistent 12.35 mpg to 14.08 mpg running it the same way I always do (mixed city/ highway driving) I don't think that's a coincidence.

Unless you don't care about fuel economy. Fuel is cheap enough out in TX so I don't blame you if you don't.
