It's a much easier job when you remove the black step bumper first. Took me a while to figure that out lol. After that it's a snap, pun intended.

Should have watched this video first, then started the job. The first 2:55 of that video is all anyone needs to see to remove bumper end caps correctly and easily.

As a former F02 owner myself, I sometimes get misty eyed at not driving that car...when it wasn't at the dealer getting something fixed under warranty (def got my $$ worth buying that BMW certified pre owned powertrain warranty. Probably added $3000 to the final price of the car but I easily got $20,000+ in repairs).

I still have nightmares at the mere mention of valve stems and low oil dash warnings. It drove like a dream when it was on point, tho...

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
When my Weathertechs wear out, I am going to be trying a set of the Huskys. I really like that thick chunk of material by the gas pedal. That's where the heel of my shoe always wears through mats first.

 I actually considered a "pre-owned" F02 at one point. Glad I didn't go there.

That was one of the reasons why I went for them when they were on sale. Having worn through my share of carpet mats (and floor carpeting) over the years, something more robust is needed.

I see you’re in Portland, what dealer? I went to Tonkin last Friday asking for black lugs and they said no dealer in the area had them.

As a guy who works in a Euro/Subaru shop as a tech. I can say this about BMW, and its the same thing I have been saying for 20 years...."I love bimmers but will never own one until I make enough money to pay someone else to work on it for me." Also over half of us techs that work here drive toyota's and subaru's even though we work on Euro stuff...that should tell you something as well :) You find me a BMW that doesn't leak like the Exxon Valdez from the oil pan, valve cover, and oil filter housing and always have a CEL on, I'll give you a 100 bucks  They're still a blast to drive though.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!

I've got a question... With these awnings, how do you keep rain water from gathering in the middle and causing a heavy sag? Your "roof" looks flat with no lean to one side for runoff or a prop in the middle.
