I have a 2011 tacoma with 81 thousand miles. Since I've had it for 4 months now already replaced spark plugs, front and rear brakes, both front wheel bearings. And now the ac compressor is making noise when on. Am I expecting to replace a bunch of parts in the next few thousand miles? Is it common?

Spark plugs... not out of line to replace.
Front brakes... maybe... depending on how it was driven.
    Rear brakes... a little early.
Wheel bearings... may have forded water or just shit luck but too soon I think.

Is it lifted? If not you just got unlucky or the previous owner beat on it or towed with it all the time. 4 cyl 2.7 or 6 cyl 4.0?

when you say replace brakes, do you mean the pads?

I don't think there's a truck on the planet with 81,000 miles and original plugs and brake pads.

Well the plugs should be done every 30k and my front pads were replaced at 65k. I do a lot of trips up and down a mountain so your mileage may vary.

bearings seem to be one of the few premature wear items that I see people complaining about here but so far for me at 72k I’ve had no issues with a 2” lift.

Not sure about your ac compressor. Maybe just shit luck. It’s a reliable truck. Fix the things that pop up and keep up on maintenance. Don’t let it rust and it will last.

I wouldn't worry about the AC compressor, I'd just carry a bypass belt for emergencies until I was sure it was an issue. Although, my four cyl take 2 seconds to change, idk about the 4.0. sounds like normal wear to me, my mother's crystler town and country has been babied and it's had tons of issues and now burns out like mad at only 110k.

    Just
Just didn't like the blue. Sanded the clear off and painted. The kit came with everything needed. It came out pretty good has a few splaches from when the paint was almost out

It was smooth if you have a good aircompressor sanded the clear off would have taken 3 hours but my compressor was crapping out. Borrowed one to paint. Take your time and tape off the windows. I kinda rushed and had some small spots near the seals not painted went back and used plastidip for those areas

you bought a used vehicle that's almost 10 years old. things will need to be replaced, even if it's only got 80k on it.
