3rd gens with aftermarket wheels & NO LIFT

Thanks. This is a bone stock 2020 sr. It has the convenience package (no utility package) so all my trim is color matched. Only mods are that I made some inserts for my grille and I put some small amber lights In The top plate of the grille. Other mods done too but they weren't for aesthetics (more for functionality and comfort).

 

I'll eventually put fog lights in once I've accumulated all the oem parts. After that I may put some small mud flaps on to eliminate salt and road grime accumulating on black paint. Maybe a bed mat and a couple more tie down points, then I'm done. This little truck shreds as is and meets my day to day needs. I was going to hang on to my 96, but after driving this for a few months I've decided to get rid of it. Nice little pickup I hope to have it for a while.

 

Really glad to see that color matched bumper and those tail lights are the best of all the OEM 3rd gens imo.

I like that you're not doing too much to it. Keep posting pics; I'd love to see how this truck sits in its final state.

 

Yeah. I'm just trying to keep it simple and functional. That's why I got an sr. I only needed 4wd and jump seats. I need foglights. I dont like driving without them.
This is hacked, but this is basically what itll look like when I'm done.

 

Btw. I took off the front air dam too. That thing just looked like it was going to cause problems with the larger tires and negative offset wheels, so it had to go, ashame cuz it actually helped a bit with mpg.

General grabber atx's 265/70 17's on Procomp hammers 17x9 -6 offset

 

What kind of fender Liner trimming did you have to do? Pics?

 

Stuck with 265/65/17 to keep stress off my little 2.7L AT..

 

Here's mine. Went with the TRD 4 Runner wheels and Nitto Terra Grappler G2 265/65/17. Stayed with stock tire size for now.

Prepping for larger tires with no lift. Just hammered back the pinch weld (seam sealer on the cuts) and hit the fender liner with a heat gun.

Didn’t plan on a CMC but it’s clear that it needs done. Stock tires with -12 offset wheels and there’s not much clearance.
