    I live in Richmond and work in Rosenberg (~15min drive). Rosenberg is a weird town, pretty safe but some odd people there. There really aren't many 'nice' places, a lot of them are older and a little run down but the people are friendly. Look into Richmond, a little more north. More countryside feel, and you have some nicer establishments and an easier drive into the city
