    Hey Everyone,

So had my water pumped replaced got home took a look to make sure everything was tighty and noticed instead of pink coolant there was like a yellowish amber type coolant.....anyone have any experience with this coolant? Is my truck gonna blow up after I run it down to monument valley lol....I believe specifically it's called Armor Global Extended Life Antifreeze.

    I guess it’s worth mentioning,

That 2 different things can meet the same standard, and one be “better” than the other.
Which is better? I don’t know.

I went Toyota SLLC, simply because I do drain and fills. I don’t want to mix coolant types.
If I were to do a complete system drain, I’d feel fine using a different coolant as long as it meets or exceeds the OE standards.

Yeah I believe that might be the same one, I tried googling Armor Global, and I only get that result.......I just couldn't specifically find anything on this specific color of coolant lol.......Although I believe it's also an Organic Acid Tech (OAT) which is good for trucks correct?

I got this from the 2014 manual

    Use either of the following.
    • “Toyota Super Long Life Coolant”
    • Similar high-quality ethylene glycol-based
    non-silicate, non-amine, non-nitrite, and non-borate coolant with long-life hybrid organic acid technology
Do not use plain water alone.

If that's the case I guess itll do just fine as long as i dont use water lol......., and when it says Hybrid Organic Acid Tech is that the same thing as just normal plain acid tech though? Or is it a 50/50 type of coolant?
