    Hi all,

    I have been looking at a new tonneau to replace one from another brand I was never happy with. Water resistance is my number one priority. How does this cover do with water resistance? Do you get any leakage between the rails and the bedsides? How does the lomax allow for the flare in the bedsides towards the tailgate? Do you get any water seeping up the seems at the hinges?

    Thanks for any help you can provide. I am trying to decide between this cover and a camper shell, with the assumption that the shell will provide better water resistance. I just don't like how the shells look, and am attracted to the ease of removing this cover.

    I live in the pacific nw so no I’m no stranger to rain. We’ve had some pretty good downpours here since I put on my lomax and I have only noticed small amounts of water getting in near my tailgate. I do not have a tailgate seal, and am pretty sure that would solve the problem. The rest of the covered area seems pretty water tight thanks to the lomax lid-like design, and the seal molded pretty well to the plastic trim around the bed. The corner spaces near the cab could be improved with some weather stripping too, but I really haven’t seen any water come through so I have left it alone. All in all I’m really happy with the cover!
