What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Starting phase 1 of blacking out chrome decals coming for ac vents and others took out bed tie down rings and bed cover clamps and painted those black as well.

Thinking outside the box! What a great idea!!

 

Wipe around parts with turtle interior protectant then spray plastisol, that works really well on a lot of places. Oh I bagged off the area too. There's a really good thread for the vent rings. From meso I think.

 

Replaced the chrome bits around the vents, start button chrome and 4x4 selector switch chrome piece and the chrome piece around the gear select. A lot easier than I thought... but it helped to watch Taco Twonz video a couple times before hand.

Took the chrome from my Rockstar wheels and made them orange. Figured if it looked too wild I’d make some of them black.


Sprayed the tail lights.. still don’t know how I feel about them yet.

but yeah.. she wants to know who else hates the tail lights... like her.

I think it's too much orange (for my taste, but it doesn't look bad) I would make all the bolts black and leave star orange. The tail lights I think are too dark. Just my .02 but overall love the look. Just being picky
