On the softopper there should be a flap on the inside for velcro that attaches to the front of your bed

Does anyone know which RTTs have no-see-um mesh screens instead of this ridiculously huge “trucker hat” mesh Tepui uses? Small bugs can fly right through this crap. I’m getting tore up by tiny ass little bugs right now that are crawling right through the window screens. I’m done with this tent and ready for something better. Options?

    Get these...

I do consider it an issue. The flapping will eventually damage the window. This is assuming that the droning sound of the window smacking against the bed doesn't lull you to sleep first and cause a crash.

Literally the tent I ordered. It will be my first RTT. Ordered it 2 months ago and in theory it will ship this month. The LST is what sold me on it. From the few reviews I could find it seems to be a solid company and a well made tent with tons of nice features. After my tent shows up (someday) I plan on doing a big detailed review on it as there are not that many out there.

I have a Can-Back but Velcro is an interesting idea.. I could stich it in and double stick it to the bed. Hmm

Nice to see you too. Where did you guys end up? Not long after you stopped by the tide came in and cut off access to the are you were headed. We stayed in generally the same area but moved to the ocean side?

@fatfurious2 is this the place you mentioned when we swapped those parts ? If so do you have any more info on it? I’ve been intrigued ever since you were telling me about it.

    Love the bed rack!

You I’d try the snap screws. Otherwise you could replace the front window with a mesh one. I did that and it’s been working great. The mesh holes are to small for excessive water intrusion and let’s air flow through the soft topper.

Did you ever get something figured out?

Maybe try Derrick, I know his Bush tents are pretty legit.
Imma reach out to my dude and get a picture of the mesh on their tent to see if it’s better than what you have.

Nope. Bugs weren’t bad last night. The wind picked up. I’ll post a picture of the mesh in my tent a little later.
