I thought I wanted holes there but after getting the plate on there, that desire went away. Keeping it closed will help protect my winch line a little bit from UV.

No, I will just wrap a soft shackle around the bumper down low. Fuck that does remind me though, I meant to add a small tab to keep it from sliding.

 

I changed my mind. I’ll just use two small soft shackles and a short strap to create a bridle. This will keep it from slipping up the tube on a non straight pull. It will also distribute the pull more evenly.

Not to mention I rarely get recovered anyways. Usually it’s me recovering someone else.

 

Why not drill and install the rivnuts before paint?

 

I don’t want to get paint in the rivnuts. And I’m unsure what size hardware the lights come with

 

I think we should name your front bumper "Dave"

Well if you're going to skip the hoop then we'll need a different name than "Dave" for the bumper.
