    That made me chuckle. Very true though, all my shit is 8-9 years old and there are some items that were company prototypes. We were doing stuff no one had done before. :oops:

    I mean I get wanting strong parts, but take CVs for example. Cool, you bought indestructible axles. Enjoy blowing up your diff instead of a $100 part that tucks away anywhere and takes 30 min to swap out.

    At a certain point the correct answer is to throw away everything with Toyota on it except the badge and build a tube chassis. But in the mean time there is a trade off between excessively weak parts (OEM inner CVs) and performance.

    DOM is Drawn Over Mandrel meaning the tube as manufactured has no welded seam.

    HREW is formed over a die and electric welded either a tig process or high frequency welding is now getting popular.

    Since I'm towing my 7x18 car hauler now I'd like to add a bigger transmission cooler and get a Scan Gauge ll or something similar to keep an eye on temps, etc... what are y'all using or suggest? Also what battery are y'all using on your trailers for a winch on a trailer?
