Little things by themselves don't add up to much dollar wise but once you put them in a pile they add up quickly. Take your time and choose wisely and you'll be happy with the final result. It's not a race and it's not about keeping up with the Jone's, it's just about what makes YOU happy.:thumbsup:

Like a Jeep, actually (minus the steering line issues where you feel like you’re constantly battling to keep it on the road).

So if you’re okay with that kind of ride quality, it’s great! But when you lift and level a truck, it’s kind of to be expected on some level. Tires are super quiet on highway. Minimal vibration in steering wheel. Haven’t hit any washboards yet. That will be the true test, I think.

Same here. "My" first oil change (every 5k) is due. I've just color matched my Pro skid plate, my shackle mounts were given another coat of paint and my Jowett Performance filter cover is ready to go on so I'll finally get 3 more things out of the pile while I'm there. Now if I can just get some decent weather with a humidity rate below 50% that coincides with my days off I'll be all set. Rome wasn't built in a day but it may have been built faster than my Tacoma. o_O

That is Victory 4X4 mount with NMO connection. Yes, dual band Comet 2M/70cm #SS460SB NMO. 46cm length. Works well for the short length with my 5 Watt Yeasu Ft3dr. When I put in a 50 Watt unit down the line I'll probably go with a SS-680SBNMO

Great minds and all that. We’re doing a similar thought. While my wife and i are driving around The world for the next few years we are keeping one fob (our truck doesn’t have push to start since it’s a manual) hidden in the truck with the other one on us. In our wallets we Both keep a simple blade key which will open the door but not start the truck. This way if someone steals our keys or, more likely, I lose them, we use our blade key to get into the truck and use the hidden fob to drive away. Then order another fob while we continue our travels. Really don’t want to be stuck somewhere waiting for DHL

Me too but it will probably be early November before it starts to cool down here so I'll have to pick a relatively cool morning and just do it.

It was not me who swapped the taillights. Ask @44-16 Taco

I was answering to your question about what he did to his truck. But I have no idea what he did with his original taillights.

Messed with the shims in my shift knob and promptly lost one lol.

BUT, it’s tight and pretty spot on now. So it all worked out in the end.
