Finally after owning the boat for 45 days I installed a Garmin Cruise. Man I feel much safer on the water now. But I installed it yesterday and the heat and sun beat me down. Too bad I don’t know a midget that could of helped me cause working on a boat it in small spaces and 90 degrees isn’t recommended.

Happy 4th of July you SOB’s :oldglory:

Would you happen to be off work 21,22, or 23 July? Planning a boating day while wife and kids are out of town.

we went to Short Stay on Lake Moultrie. Ramp was a mad house but people were being pretty civil. There were leaches at Short Stay. Never had that problem before. Guess it’s warm enough to stay away from the nasty lakes now. I prefer the ocean anyway.

Those are the times it really pays to dry stack. I’m sure that’s not a cheap option though.

true story. on both counts. when we were looking at dry stacks, it was going to be around 350-400 a month for dry storage. slip storage wasnt quite as bad though. still considering that until the new babys born.

We pay $78 a month for storage on the trailer cause our HOA won’t let us keep the boat in the driveway. At least I have access to the boat 24hours a day.

down at bohicket, a wet slip for a 20ft boat annually is 280/month. the rate is $14/ft/month for the annual rate. not horrendously awful...
