I am curious I have not been to Carlisle to talk to my friends .

What ever happened with the big Fight between The Fair Grounds and the State to keep them shutdown ?

It was all over the news then nothing .

Careful, while tasty, that shit will sneak up on you. It doesn't even taste like it has a high ABV, but does. Two is enough for an evening.

I swear I sound like an alcoholic, but I just like variety, lol.

You are absolutely correct Adam. This is a one and done DIPA @ 9% ABV
This years batch actually tastes a lot better than last years for some reason. :notsure:
I want to say they hit a lower IBU but it also seems to have more notes of grapefruit.

    Regardless, I’m enjoying it. :D

Good morning, fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Happy 4th of July!!

We live in northeast PA on a dirt road. Down the road from us, close to where it connects to the State road, a couple from NY owns a piece of property in the woods. They "vacation" there by putting up a tent and camping - maybe 4 times during the summer. I noticed they were there yesterday with two tents this time - later another family member saw there were two cars parked along the edge of the woods. This morning just before 3AM, I was awakened by two shots that came from the vicinity of their campsite....hopefully they were just taking care of a raccoon or possum going through the trash.

I dunno, but if it were me, I would be hoping for fire works practice and not someone shooting a critter.

    Happy 4th All!

    Morning PA!

From all the post of beer and liquor last night I hope everybody is feeling ok  Throwing a pork shoulder on today for our small family and friend. Should take 4 or so hours, so sitting on the back porch just relaxing is well and fine with me! Someone was setting off fireworks last night, so hopefully we won't hear too much tonight.

Happy 4th everyone! Neighbors were setting off fireworks around here last night; the cats were not happy. It seems to me that they are more bothered now than when they were younger.

This is definitely the first year for me still doing taxes in July! I'm helping my dad with his, but of course it's all at a distance. I use TurboTax, so I set up my iPhone to look at the screen and then FaceTime with him so he can see it on his iPad. I'm using a woodworking clamp to connect the phone to a small tripod. It's a real Rube Goldberg setup! But it works. Kinda. Mostly. ;)
