Glad you had a good customer service experience and are getting the problem resolved. With these big companies good customer service is rare these days.

    none yet!
For sure - I had a pretty compelling case at this point :-D - not much else to replace.

Per the purple wire, its been connected from day one. As for setting the camera settings, it only gives me Auto and Negative.

Man it’s endless. Meso customs dash parts, shift knob, lighting, BHLM headlights bumpers lift on board air. On and on... I could of already paid my truck off with how much I’ve dumped into it. Lol. When I think about it pisses me off. Oh well. Need something to keep my mind from going crazy during these times

Anyone know how to get text messages notifications on the headunit while in the home screen (without being in Android Auto or Apple Car Play)?

Where is everyone putting the GPS antenna? (Assuming you have to use the pioneer one? Might just be me with my lowly SR...)

SR models don't have OEM GPS antenna. Not to my knowledge at least.

Yeah, they don’t. I’m installing the 4660, but figured maybe someone else had to use the pioneer antenna, so though I’d check

Check this video out and go to the 3:25 mark. Maybe that can help you out.

I haven’t tested it yet but someone says it’s working for WT8600NEX, I’m sure there are plenty people here who can confirm or deny it works!

Hi. After many hours of screen presses, I figured it out. The Pioneer DMH-W and DMH-WT models have a special hidden menu bypass requirement. No interface bypass is required, but you can leave it connected if it is already installed. Dean and Fernando at Five Star Audio made a video of it on the tubes if you’d rather see it than read it. Here is how to do it:
    1. Update the firmware to 1.13
    2. Enable the hidden menu bypass by sourcing the radio off (source off, not power off).
    3. Press and hold the bottom left corner of the screen for exactly 10 seconds (use a stopwatch as timing is critical).
    4. Within 1 second, press and hold the bottom right corner (to the immediate left of bluetooth icon) for 10-12 seconds until a small “set on” icon will appear (in the bottom middle of the screen) confirming the bypass has been activated.
    5. If you do not get it the first time, cycle the ignition off and back on and start over.
    6. If you need to reverse this process, reset the radio.

Update on install - Done with install today and did a test drive and all is good - very impressed! If you have the OEM Audio + system, go to Settings -> Graphic EQ -> and select Powerful. Also change the Loudness to High. High may be too much for some people but my system is not distorted and sounds superb. It was a clarity and punch I haven't heard in a long time. Super crisp in the highs and bass was perfect. 1,000% better than the OEM Factory HU and way better than the Dasaita HU. I did install a triple pulse bypass but have not disconnected the GPS or VSS yet. (I will get to that later)

Tip # 1: For anyone having issues with connectivity: My CarPlay would not work via wireless in IOS 13.x and the Beta 14. It only worked with USB. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected and all working like it should now. I guess that is a hard reset? (don't quote me)

Tip #2: If CarAVAssist isn't working, just go grab the firmware direct from HERE. The app is Not very user friendly
Also, big thanks to @PreRunnerSeth and @svermilyea for all the guidance and Pro Tips! We done! :101010:

    Confirmed that this works.

lower left 1/4 inch up from bottom (10 sec) 1/4 inch to the left of the telephone icon for 10 seconds.

    Correction:
    Great post @Markdizle
