Yes, if there is a gap between the cover and bed, so long bed stiffeners can be placed in there.

Maybe someone here will provide the info about it since I don't have long ones... I got normal ones.

Edit: I see @Tacodog posted about it.

Ok sweet. I somehow have zero pictures of my cover folding up so it’s been a memory game for the past half an hour. You have any pictures out of curiosity?

Any particular reason to choose normal over long, vice versa? I had no idea bed stiffeners were a thing until an hour ago so lol

I got normal ones before I noticed long ones on TW. Bed stiffeners helps with bed sides if you plan to use RTT on the bed rack/topper.

    Minor stuff.
Very nice. What color is that bumper or do you have to get it powder coated?

It’s painted, I used the Rustoleum Massey Ferguson Grey paint and finished it with clear automotive enamel.

Hope everyone has a nice day celebrating our independence from England. We are blessed and privileged to live in the greatest country on this planet. Unfortunately, many of our larger cities are experiencing protests, riots, looting, arson and violence. There are some professional athletes and actors who are disrespecting our flag and our nation for which it stands. I nearly gave up my life for their right to do this on several occasions but I also have the right to not support their sports and movies with my time and money. I WILL stand with my hand on my heart when our national anthem is played and will back down to no one for this. I lived through the riots of the 1960's and some people back then thought that they would never end, but they did. We have some of the most creative and talented people on TW. You have inspired me to do 25 mods to my truck and am currently working on number 26 with a couple more planned for the future. You give me hope for the future of our nation. May God continue to bless America.

How do you like the Eibach stage 1? How's the ride compared to stock? I've been looking at these. I didnt think new uca's were necessary for this setup in order to achieve alignment, unless you went higher than 2".

I installed some new lights yesterday. Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fogs in amber and Stealth Light bar, combo in white.. Super easy to install the fogs after I took of my grill. No problem reaching behind the headlights. Seems easier than through the wheel well that I saw in a few videos. Kept the fogs on the stock switch.

The light bar was another story. Brackets were easy to get in once I removed the plastic guards from each side of the radiator. Did not bolt brackets in before attaching light bar, just like the Diode Dynamics video said. Mounting the light bar to the mounts was a PAIN IN THE ASS. You need to put the plastic guards back in before you try to bolt light to mounts. I see some people trim away some of the plastic guards to make the job easier. I left them in tact. I dropped the damn bolts INTO THE BUMPER at least 4 times trying to get them started. I learned a whole lot about how to loosen all the plastic around the bumper to fish out the bolts. I wired the light bar to my Auxbeam 8-switch setup. Everything works well! If you see my 14mm deep socket, let me know. Probably in the damn bumper.

In my extremely biased opinion, this is the best grille we have.

2013 no leaks at all just got it’s first light at 60k miles needs a thermostats picked one up for 100 bucks easy install. Been very reliable.

also had a high mileage e46 as my first car. It only ever leaked from the valve cover which was an easy job to replace. That car was a nightmare when it came to the cooling system ended up completely replacing the whole thing. Loved working on that car learnt a lot and it was easy to work on.

bmws are not reliable compared to a Toyota but if you know a thing or two and keep up on the maintenance they aren’t the nightmare everyone tells you they are.

Nice. I had something similar planned out but never followed through since I don’t camp enough in the heat.
