Getting swabbed the most horrible thing ever!!

Getting the negative tests results back helps bury those memories! Haha

I'm going to wait till next week before I get tested. Have had a few friends that took their test early only to have to get another test a few days later to confirm a negative result.

I think I'll be fine. I was out fishing all day with a buddy that's infected. It was hot, humid, and sunny, so hopefully the odds are in my favor that I'm not infected. Gonna lay low regardless just to be safe.

Was supposed to go see family today. Would hate to spread the cooties to them though, so it's just me, the wife, and the dog taking it easy this weekend.

The new swabs test I took Friday 26th was great don't have to run the spear through your brain.

    That's a relief!

Lucky for me my brain isn't very big, so there should be plenty of room in my noggin for a swabbin

They open the package and hand you two small plastic type sticks and they just tell you to go as far as you can. Rub it around for so many seconds in each nostril. Then you drop it back in the container and done.

I want to like this... but F Blanton's is my new motto. I wouldn't care if they gave me a case for free ... I'd trade that off right quick.

I know what you mean. The chase for the standard single barrel is really dumb, but these SFTB and Golds are worth picking up from overseas if you find a decent deal. I'm more than happy to bring back the good stuff to its homeland!

But why did it leave to begin with? It's ALL about profit and not about giving us a good drink. If it's made in America.. shouldn't Americans get their fill THEN send it to the rest of the world ?? HAHA I'm 86% joking of course.. I just feel like as a paying customer.. I'm not paying for their crap. I'll stick to EC or ECBP all day any day.

I agree with you 100%! I won't be buying anymore unless I stumble across another great deal. It's really good stuff that should be here first, absolutely. Definitely worth a try at least once though.

I'll say... I like ECBP more. There aren't many Buffalo Trace barrel proof products that are "available" and I like variety now and then to keep from draining my main stash of ECBP too quickly:rofl:

There's a reason why this Blanton's is first in my lineup today, not last!

Fair enough!! Even if Blanton's was as available to me as ECBP is.. I would still go with ECBP.. I obsessed with getting a Blanton's and 1000% satisfied with the deal I made for it but I was disappointed with the product itself if that makes sense.

Did you get the standard single barrel? It's not bad, but definitely not worth the chase and the hype IMO. You may be like me and you just enjoy the Heaven Hill profile more than Buffalo Trace mash bill no. 2.

Yes the regular single barrel.. and if the rest of their stuff is similar, I may not like it either. I'm happy AF with EC and ECBP so far.. but I'm not a fan of Rye so I won't be trying the EC Rye.

No. 3 on the Freedom whiskey tour, Maker's Mark Private Select. This one's a molasses coffee bomb.
