    Router question

    I am looking for a router table lift. I want to upgrade what I have now. I built a cabinet years back with storage and a now undersized plate. So I just need a lift with plate and table surface.
    I have been approved by the wife for $700, but willing to go a little higher if needed.
    Looked at Jessem Kreg woodpecker and others but they all have high ratings.

    suggestions?

    I’ve always used the “elbow” height. The height of the bench plus the base of the tool to the work surface.

    Reason I'm asking is I'm currently building my shop and I have one wall that is going to be dedicated to a chop saw set up but the extension on one side becomes a workbench area in front of some windows . I would like to set the bottom of the windows at bench top height so I need to decide that elevation very soon

    I'm used to using my chop saw at an elevation where it's table is at about 38 1/2" above the floor but fear that height would make the workbench area uncomfortably tall

    I actually have two benches. One is mainly used as a table saw our feed. It’s a little higher than my normal workbench. The shorter one is about 38”.

    I have mine on a stand that didn’t come with the saw. It’s actually at 39 1/2”. I need to lower it but just haven’t had time. My shorter workbench is 34”.
