I’m coming from a 2018 Mercedes GLC and I think my Taco has more tech features than the Mercedes did. Not to mention I feel like my testosterone level has gone up since jumping into a pickup from a soccer mom SUV.

Ahh makes sense and when compact trucks were compact and full size were more like midsize.

Its probably the most popular color. I see 90% silver or gray tacomas everyday on the roads here. Its refreshing when you see another color.

It was the actually the only TRD Sport with LED headlights that was within 300 miles from where I live. I really wanted Voodoo blue or Cement, but due to the Tacoma shortage, there aren’t any. I’m glad I got silver though bc it’s really grown on me and always looks clean and tough like solid metal. Goes great with the silver and black rims too!

It’s very spacious compared to the gladiator. Every time I get one to work on at work I think about the square body 4x4 Cherokee I used to own . The back seat in a wrangler product is a joke .

Wrangler/Gladiator actually has more rear leg room than Tacoma (38.3 inches to 32.6). Even the head room (41.7 to 38.3 inches) is better, so not sure where you are getting that from, we have a JLU Rubi in our stable and its leaps more comfortable cabin wise in the rear than my Tacoma, brother always prefers to take the Jeep over the Tacoma when shuttling around his teenage friends.

I own a silver one, but other than my truck I see lots of white, QS, and black ones. I agree though, I like the Barcelona Red ones and every time I see one it catches me off guard.

I did, well sort of. I have an 04 Crew Cab Silverado I use for long trips and towing. Great truck but I know it’s getting older. I toyed with the idea of replacing my Silverado with my Taco, but I’m not sure if it can handle the towing I do. Plus having a full-sized back seat is great for when there’s more than two of us on a trip so my Silverado is sticking around.

About 9K miles on mine so far, no "real" complaints. Almost due for its first oil change.
The stock stereo was a hot mess, but that was easily fixed (I replaced it with a Joying). The Joying has been nearly flawless and looks factory.
OVTune 2.0 made it drive that much better, and the cool little things from MESO just finish it all off.

Not my first Toyota truck, but there was a bit of a gap between my other one and this one. If my '20 manages to last as long as my '92 did, I will be thrilled. That one had a "car engine" too.
