Could be the fact that I didn't use primer?

Normally I do for most things, but I went with the recommended method (and paint) that I found on other threads (various forums).

Could be. I used self-etching aluminum primer I got from a body shop supply store. I wonder if that made the finish too smooth. Because unfinished the hub dials are kind of rough and porous.

Spent most of the day trying to get all six bed bolts installed. Drivers front had been stripped by PO, so had to fish a nut up on top. Drivers middle seems to be much bigger hole than standard for the bolts, still fussing with that one, as I didn't have a nut to fit the bolt. Other four went in without significant issues, other than getting them aligned.

Here is an image of my "poor man's rustproofing", nothing more than a $5 can of wheel bearing grease, liberally brushed on to the interior surface of, in this case, the front fender. I did all of the underneath of the bed, and up into the cavities. I will also do this under the bed liner.

After pulling my bedliner from the old bed, I am thoroughly convinced this kept the rust totally at bay under the liner (for fifteen years).

The breather allows the diff to well. Breath. As it warms up pressure inside goes up. The breather allows it to exit. With a clogged or seized breather, the pressure will eventually blow out your axle seals.

If you drive through water the instant cold will pull a vacuum and do almost the same thing

Does anyone have a source for matching Paint for the dash for touch up. I have the charcoal interior 2004. Can't seem to find anything on the internet that says it is a match without trying many different colors.

    Thanks

The other holes are larger to be able to adjust the bed alignment.

So I put the supercharger back together, and replaced my 01-04 pink injectors with my stock 1998 brown injectors (lower CC than the pink ones)

This has seemed to solve my misfire, I believe the pink injectors were causing it. However, it appears I'm running lean at idle. My fuel trims read 11 LTF and 0 STF in Open Loop when idling. But when at full throttle, my fuel trims read 4 LTF and 0 STF so it appears to be good in normal driving conditions.

LTF and STF read 0 in Closed Loop. Think it might be a vacuum leak, or something else?

    Picture for posterity:

Not the sexiest of mods but I removed my rear pad and jump seats gaining an extra 2-3" of rear cargo. Anyone need these? Free pickup in Long Beach, CA. She also got her first wash in 3yrs.

Ive been considering this because with the 170 thermostat my fan clutch won’t engage when I’d prefer it would. And more importantly AC at idle could be improved if air would move over the condenser.

90+ degrees with a black truck in direct sunlight and idling/low speeds my AC can’t keep up.

Ive been looking at the Delta PAG fan setup but at $400.00 it’s quite expensive.
