Imo, inferno red was best....reminds me more of a red porsche color that i had back in 78 on my toyota wolverine. I had 2 tundra's an 01 and 06 ironically both a gray, or silver color till 2020. You can understand where i'm coming from.

I loved my 17 Tacoma, but ended up getting something more practical for me. My only complaint was the lack of secure storage space to put my stuff. I couldn't justify the 800+ price tag on a tonneau cover or more for a shell.

Imagine dropping the coin on a new Tacoma then being shocked when you got home that it lacked storage space lololol.

I loved my truck before the lift and wheels/tires but now that everything is on I can't stop saying, "holy shit...look at that freaking truck" when I walk out of the supermarket and stare at parked out in the lot.

Been there done that as well. At this stage in my life just feel the money is better spent/saved, though a well built Tacoma is a thing of beauty.

It’s definitely a beautiful color. I kinda wish they had brought it back for the 21 Pro’s instead of going with lunar rock. Having Cement, Silver, and lunar in 21 is monochromatic overkill.

    Edit:
No matter the color; they are great trucks and they All look good. Love this truck. Hope mine and all of yours last 20 years+.

agreed 100%. I’ve spent soooo much money on sports cars and mods, this truck won’t get much. I would rather save the money and put it toward other things (my kiddo comes to mind)

Yep, don't get me wrong, easy to get tempted and have the means can afford to do so. And I think some of the builds I see here are amazing, but at the end of the day I don't need it or will ever use it, doesn't increase resale value (sometimes even decreases) and usually results in some sort of additional wear / tear even if its minor, but I get for some its a hobby, etc. been there done that, still though kick myself for all the money I blew through trucks, mods, bikes, etc, but it was fun for sure.

The first year or so i was pissed because of the behavior of the transmission but at this point I don't even notice it. Such a great vehicle, I hope Toyota never loses sight of what makes these trucks popular. They played it safe from 2nd gen to 3rd gen and I think they should do the same from 3rd to 4th. Toyota, please do not bullshitify the Tacoma nameplate.

Suit yourself, I would love to see them reinvest that awesome sales money in to some innovating stuff on the 4th gen

Loved my 2013. 7 years and over 150,000 miles. No expenses except normal maintenance.
(Not counting the expense of getting hit by a red light runner. Was free repair for me.)
Hope my 2020 does the same. Loving it so far.

Must be a 4-door. I agree the 2-door backseat is not for adults who aren’t midgets. And the cargo space behind the rear seats is pitiful.

Not that it’s not a fun car, uh, Jeep, but the 2-door is really made for just 2 people.

Of course the 4-door solves the room problems.
