TRD rims

Hi there Folks.
I'm on the market for new tires and wheels for my 2019 Tacoma (no lift). Tires I wanted to buy are Nitto Ridge Grapplers 265/70/17.

I have problem coz my budget is bit limited so I wanna save money, I found local guy that has set of 4 TRD Black rims for sale for 600$ , the only thing is he claims that these are 17 inch rims made a little bit wider 8".

Will my new tires fit those rims or should I look for some special tires design for 8 inch wide rims?

There are replicas. If you are adamant about OEM, make sure they are OEM spec. Otherwise they will be replicas and make sure you are fine with that. Those tires should mount up fine with those wheels.

 

Are you suggesting that the replicas are not worth buying? Those actually are replicas I know that from the owner.

 

No. I bought a set of replicas for my dad. I have nothing against them.

 

They should be fine unless there is some weird issue that you can’t see, but that can happen with any type. I’ll just say this... You can get a new set for probably less than that for the replicas you are trying to buy. I got mine and they were very great pricing. I don’t remember the exact amount shipped, but they were brand new.

Don’t quote me on price because they may change, but I will tell you who to contact and he can give you the current price. I bought mine in March so it may have changed. Contact @Johnny77 and he has great customer service and great products. Mine were just under $600 and brand new.

They came with the center caps. Only thing I bought was Gorilla black lug nuts. Great buy and glad I got these since they are a little wider than OEM also at 17 x 8 with 0 offset. Johnny is a super helpful guy and I definitely recommend these!

 

I hate to keep asking questions. But do you have a link to the lugs you bought? I want to get black lugs as well but having a hard time finding the correct size.

So I can’t remember the exact thread I got the link from but these are the same size. I hit mine from wheelers off road website. Their site is acting weird at the moment, but these are the right size. Just shop around.
