I just recently did the 2Lo mod and it looks like the connector for the 4x4 ECU. It's right behind the glove compartment. Take a look at one of the posts with photos of mod and see if that connector doesn't look like it. This one has some good photos. @lapoltba might be able to give you a more definite answer

Just had a DUH moment, or in my case a senior moment, when I realized my last oil change was on 12/31/2018 at 21,300 miles (18 months). It just hit 25,000 miles last week. I know synthetic oil is good for a lot more than 3,700 miles. I just can't believe I went that long without an oil change. The worst thing is that I have enough oil and filters here for the next 3 oil changes. Luckily we have had mild winters since then. I have driven it 500 miles since my February 2020 state inspection.

Mine did this when I had mine mounted. I just tightened the nut a little more as the guy apparently only barely hand tightened them. Been working like a dream since then

Just for your peace of mind, I read a story a few years back about some car magazine that had gotten ahold of a 10yr old car with around 100,000 miles on it and the oil had NEVER been changed.
It was still running fine!
Of course, I am not, nor would anyone recommend doing that.

I saw this one yesterday at the launch ramp. Good looking truck.
    20200704_090119.jpg
It also looks a lot like the truck that was riding my ass leaving the airport about 3 months ago with a hot tempered 110 lb youngster behind the wheel, lmao.

Lucky it is the 3.5 engine. If it was a 4.0 then the top mounted oil filter would have dry rotted by now.

    Looks good.
I did mine on Friday. Truck has 68900 miles on it and about 8000 miles on the needle bearing post lift. The bearing exploded when I extracted it. Had to get all the needles out with a magnetic. Can't believe Toyota would use that crap.

Did you replace the axle seal?

I’ve never tried to keep it connected but for a few minutes at a time. I did have issues at first, but the web site FAQ stated to turn off “cellular data” while using WiFi, and that resolved my issue.

Thanks, tried that already and while they slowed down, still leaked. I torqued them to 35 in/lbs...still no joy

My seal looked fine but I'd gone ahead and ordered one w/ the bushing as a safety measure--truck has 69k on it so likely wasn't needed but its a $20 and seeing as how I'm already in there. I did thr dumbsh*t move and didn't put the bushing in while I put the lift on. Vibes were immediate so I did the bushing two days later.

Good deal. Yeah I replaced the seal too, and as you stated you're already there.

I should have replaced the bearing while having the lift installed, but not so sure I'd trust anyone but myself for a job like that.

I don't drive 3700 miles a year but change mine on the trucks birthday every year. :) My truck will be 2 years old in October and I doubt I will have 6,000 miles on it yet. lol But when it sits in that same spot here at the projects day after day a man don't put many miles on it.
