Yes sir. No hurry though doubt there is a big line waiting to buy them. I drove one similar to the green one hauling pulp wood when I was 15. Had a dam tri-plex in it.

Our neighbor growing up had a 1936 model EE Mack strait truck we hauled cattle to town with. The truck is still setting by the old cow barn. I’ve tried to buy it, but the guy I used to help son won’t sell it. It will just set there and rot.

I drive a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia. The tranny is Detroit DT12 Automated Manual transmission (12speed) which is a manual that is clutched and shifted by air actuators when in auto mode. It can be overridden and shifted manually. I put her in manual, 7th gear with the jake maxed and it crawls down nicely without any braking. I do lots of up and down mountains all day long. When I first got the truck, the manual feature was locked out by default. Going down the same mountain, it would be going along nicely until the computer sensed the speed slowing and would downshift at 1700 RPMs and would tach up to 2200 and set off over rev alarms and I was forced to stab the brakes. I got that changed quickly so I have control over it. The bad thing about these newer trucks is that they are very touchy and lots of hill climbing demands more frequent regens and the shitty part of that is that you can’t just do one preemptively, when the light comes on, your whole schedule goes out the window for the day and it turns into a day from hell.

I have a beanie I had bought for a friend many Christmases ago whose no longer a friend. Figured if someone is actually a fan they could have it otherwise it's going in the donate pile.

Also since you guys are on the truck subject, I figured I'd share our friends old push truck he built (he does land speed racing). He sold it sometime last year but the thing was a Frankenstein beast and beautiful to look at.
