    A. Right shoulder patch is a PJ Velcro patch

    B. Left shoulder and arm we have the American flag and a blood type, which is A positive

    C. His ballcap sports the Pararescue Guardian Angel symbol

    D. Yes, he was a special operator

You are calling out retired PJ Chief Master Sergeant Paul Koester, USAF. He has seen more action in his sleep than you’ve seen in your entire life. He spent over 40 years (forty) in uniform as a PJ.

Gen. (Four Star) Hawk Carlisle, 99th Air Combat Command commander, who presided over Koester’s retirement ceremony. “Chief Koester is much too humble of a man to admit this, but very few people serve long enough to actually witness their legacy in the Air Force and Chief Koester will be able to do that.”

“I will tell you in my humble opinion, I believe that our PJ’s in particular are probably the top two or three most highly trained and skilled members of the entire United States military and it speaks to what Chief Koester has been through in his life and what he has done,”

    Any other comments?

Ignore him, just some old timer that thinks because of his peace time service 40 years ago he is an expert on all things military.

It's been over 40 years since I wore a uniform. All of the patches are different. The PJ's I knew wore little maroon berets. Of course they also flew around in HH43's, HH53's and Hueys. And the greatest of these PJ's, though I never met him, was a guy named Pitsenbarger.

An associate of mine is a really nice guy, but he’s constantly reliving the 6 years he spent in the Army 25 years ago. He got out the year before 9/11 happened, and they wouldn’t let him back in after 9/11 because he couldn’t pass the physical. Maybe a psych evaluation too.

He now owns more guns than the Bolivian army and believes it’s his sovereign right to defend America from invaders. He’s 350 pounds of tactical. It’s really, really sad.

Have him ring you when he’s ready for the boogaloo and then tell him to run to the back yard. Figure then he’ll be dead and you get to shop for free.

If 5.11 made underwear, he’d be wearing the largest size. He has armor - I don’t know who made it. Maybe it’s two vests sewn together.

Also, pretty sure if he loses joint custody he’ll make the news. It’s pretty sad.

Don’t know. Last I heard was that she moved to Dallas and he was working on a transfer to be closer to his kids. Haven’t seen him since COVID started and I don’t Facebook anymore. For all I know he sold his stockpile to pay for a move, or he’s on the courthouse steps right now without a mask. Don’t know, but both were equal options.

Gee, I realize the war in south east asia was not much. But, my DD214 does have the box for service in Vietnam checked.

But I suppose that if you didn’t serve in Iraq and Afghanistan like my sons it does not count.

Go back to playing your video games.

Leave my video games out of this, they have very little bearing on my service.

Had the cops show up at my house this evening. Apparently a neighbor, I have an idea of which one (across the street and has a Biden 2021 sign in his yard and was standing outside watching me the whole time), called the cops and reported that I was brandishing a machine gun. 4 cops came walking up the driveway and caught me “brandishing” the upper as it was in my barrel vice getting cleaned. After seeing what I was doing and grilling me for a good half hour I showed them the security camera footage that showed no one in the driveway or front yard with a weapon. They promptly went across the street and briefed the neighbor on the repercussions for filing a false complaint.
