2 things I recently added to my 2016 Tacoma:

1. Recently installed a AJT steering wheel emblem overlay in black. Not bad quality.

2. Installed OEM Toyota power tailgate lock. Wasn't a terrible install. Running the wire and doing the zip ties was honestly the worst part. Overall, it was a fairly straight install.

 

Was surprised with a solar panel Saturday... Installed lake side (don’t recommend LOL) but wow, thing fit my needs exactly

I've got Pandora on right now. Simple Minds radio, great 80s alt that doesn't go haywire after an hour.

 

Saweeet man. First time I’ve seen mention of a hardbody here. My first vehicle was a king cab hardbody....

Back to Tacomas.. I was curious how close the computer calculated MPG is to the actual MPG. So far on 4 tanks of gas my 2020 DCSB’s computer adds an extra 0.7 miles per gallon. Fairly accurate. Mostly city driving, though.

 

I wanna order these but every time I go to the site they are out of stock.

 

That's why I've never gotten into the MESO stuff.

Rock lights only used off-road probably don't matter too much. On the streets, red out the front, white out the back (except for reverse), and blue anywhere is a bad idea.

 

Those turn signals are definitely worth the wait.

Took the truck out to crew a hot air balloon flight this morning - a workout for pilots and crew as we prepare to start flying passengers again sometime soon. It was a gorgeous morning here in northeast PA...and I love this truck.

Had a Ballonist by me maybe you know him Doc Thomas? Always flying over my place. Not sure if he's still with us, he was getting up there in years. Has to be around 80. Went to high school with his boys. Haven't seen him fly in a couple of years.

 

I don't recognize the name but I haven't met a lot of pilots outside of the PA/NJ/NY areas.

 

How much for a ride to about 5k or so? I'll get myself down so it should be half price....
