    Playing with some trailing stop loss orders this morning. Going to protect some profits if the market tanks, then buy back in. First time using them, looking forward to learning more about these and how to protect profits prior to a big fall and then buy back in.

    It also depends on what else they do. When my parents retired they got a guy from a friend...He's been great. Told them what to do with the interest to minimize taxes...Gifts to others, capital improvements, buying new cars, put an addition on the house, put in a beautiful pool...They spend like crazy now because if they don't it all turns to govt. vapor. You need someone to make sure you are not losing money to taxes you could be spending...

    Yea...that 6th thing, groin size? That seems odd...

    hold my breath...VXX puts ALMOST in the money...Need it under $30. Thursday it gapped down pre-market and opened down $1...it's doing the same thing today...come on baby...sink!!

    It's gonna be the only thing sinking this morning. Hell, WTI crude touched 41.xx last night at some point. Might actually get some of those NRGU guys out of the hole. lol

    I've got today off. It's the first day I've since going back to work 8 weeks ago that I can actually sit and monitor the market. I've got cash free in the play account and I haven't decided on a target for the day yet. So many things are so far up it's been hard to decide. I've got the time so I'm just enjoying my coffee. For now.

    I did get some covered calls off this morning.

    5 INO July $24 netted $752 after commisions
    8 TUP Aug $7.5 netted $520 after commisions.

    Cost basis on the INO was $21.68.
    Cost basis on TUP was $5.79.

    If they both get exercised I'll be fine with it. Waiting till Aug for the TUP calls will be worth it. The July expiry wasn't worth shit for the same strike.
