Not a bad idea. I was thinking about it more last night and I'm just going to paint the center black, and leave it be. The whole idea behind this bumper was function first, form second. It serves its purpose of a high clearance place to put a winch, so I achieved my goal. I'm going to put the lights on and leave it be.

Where I fucked up was the winch plate. I should have made it wider, landing between the mounting studs. That would allow the side arms to be shorter. It's done though, but if I ever redo it, I have some changes in mind. Maybe I'll accidentally bend the shit out of this on a hard pull and I'll have to redo it.

Ok but I was going fast. Had to put those kings to work.

But for real though, the road was super bumpy and about 6 miles each way. I didn't have my air hose with me, so airing down wasn't an option. So, I sped up to 45 mph and all the bumps magically smoothed out. My wife was impressed.

Those are the worst. Def gotta just gas it out and let it float. We get them hella bad on some popular routes around here and its enough to get your fillings loose.

Yeah that's how we felt, shit was bad. As we were approaching the lake, another car was leaving. We hung out there for like 10 minutes because there really wasn't anything to see and then left. We caught back up to the car before hitting pavement lol
