50+ thread

Big deer and bears. I wish I still had a farm in Culpeper to hunt. We have pugs also. I hunt in Sperryville

 

Okay a 50+ rant. wife got a doll house for Junes Birthday this week. ive put alot of stuff together but this piece of crap is the worst. spent 4hrs yesterday and quit. still got a couple hours to go! then some parts aint drilled right and sure im going to have a few parts leftover.sounds like me on maintence at work. always seem to have parts leftover

 

we have so many bears on the hunt lease trying to take some this year. one Huge sow been on this one ridge for ever. at least Pussin 400lbs. and very agressive. ran the youngins out of the woods more than once.checking cameras

Currently 80° clear , High 94° and Gusty afternoon winds from the South . Just another typical day here in the Desert

At 0930hrs I've got yet another phone conference call with Doctors at the VA . This time it's with PM&R (Pain management and rehabilitation) , fancy name for PT . They're giving me a consult and examination so I can start Supervised full body PT once the VA opens the clinics back up or the Pandemic ends

If no cubs a food one to get gone. Lots of bears where I hunt but mostly young or sows with cubs. Fun to watch but keep deer away mostly when around

Just got done with my VA phone call , maybe less than 10 min . As I expected they asked a few questions including about Covid 19 then told me theyre forwarding paperwork to Tri Care for community care

These phone conference calls with the VA suck , can't wait until the clinics reopen

Now the 2-3 month wait to see if Tri Care approves the PT or not

 

thats why she is still there.I let em all go except one i took. 300llb male. but if i ever see a real big one with the old school genetics of a white V on its chest well may take it. they get in the damn way hunting deer but they are pretty

I’ve killed 3 over the years 2 with a bow 1 with rifle. Probably seen 30-40 for every one I shot. Most likely not kill another unless it’s a big one

 

Typically as scared of you as you are of them. If be had them sitting in my tree stands when I got to them before

I just posted the same song and news. deleted it when i saw yours. RIP Mr. Daniels. saw him in concert last year. one of my AllTime favorites. he had a stroke
