Hi I'm new in the site but I want to share this mod that many I will make to my 2003 taco . Put a NRG hub , quick realease and steering wheel.

I know probably will ask why and I did it because the airbag was damage and it was dangerous to have it on , no crash or something similar it was just damage for some reason that I don't know .

And the other reason was for safety about some one trying to steal my truck again

I will put a 5 point harness for extra safety

Hope you guys like it and I will make a post update the progress of my truck if someone have any advice .

    FIBRA !

Yes I did it! It’s a little thing but makes the taco that much more comfortable. I put the switch where the little coin holder is on the center console and it’s a perfect fit. The mirrors bolt on and if I remember correctly there is one tab that needs to be removed

Has anyone ever installed an auto climate control from a 99 4runner into a 2003 taco?

Funny you ask I was just looking at doing that last week I was comparing the diagrams not sure how possible it is and also the 4Runner modules can be problematic so would be best to get a rebuilt one

Definitely going to get it rebuilt. I think it would be a cool mod. Let me know what you find out. I'm going to help a buddy install a head unit and I was going to take a picture of the plugs for the a/c. Then I was going to compare it when I upgraded my radio. If it's not possible I will give it to my buddy so he can install it in his runner.

I'm sorry, I've been searching and not finding? Does anyone know if the bigger side view mirrors from 2000-2004 fit on my sons 1999 prerunner?
