Probably the same with any aftermarket skid. The OEM plastic tray on TRD Off Road models has a lot of drain holes for this reason. If it happens often, I'll stuff a bulb seal around the perimeter of the tank like commonly done on JLs between the fender and the flare.

Is there an FB post on this somewhere? ARB is pretty outspoken for omitting recovery points on the bumper, so no good spots to attach a snatch strap.

It wasn't bolted up correctly, he's friends with a buddy of mine. I'm guessing he's pretty new to the scene....

Well, you technically not supposed to even pull by that bumper even if it's bolted correctly....
That's why you got frame tow point.

Hopefully it's a quick repair for him

I guess that's one of the downfalls to an ARB...have to spend more money on the appropriate tow hook.

Incompatible with most coilover remote resi mounts except the BP51's. Good marketing strategy

They bolt to the same location on the crossmember as the OE TRD OR recovery hook, but cradle and gusset the crossmember. Good design as long as you kept the OE braces that connect the front crossmember to the jacking point crossmember.

    Mostly stock for now...
If it was Marlin Perkins voice the camera crew would have put the bumper there just before taking the photo... (I got the reference... :) )
