Thank you! I struggled to put it off to one of the sides. Things were just not lining up well. I honestly think the bachelor is too small to work with the voodoo rack sideways but I could be wrong. The back works great though.

All summer at the lake, might as well be comfortable considering I’m here with my 6 year old son. How many nights have you stayed in yours? I’ve logged over 5 months over the last year and a half.

That’s for sure! I love the remote weekend in the woods in the fall, but I’m not scared to go glamping all summer either.

Haha that’s my buddy’s airplane hangar. His plane was gone for maintenance during the quarantine so I just lived in there for like a month. It was a blast having a pool table and kegerator on hand.

That sounds awesome. Damn I need better friends. No one I know has a plane and a sweet hangar for it. I'm gonna call my loser friends and complain now.

yea, that looks pretty similar to my Tepui. No-see-um like on a normal ground tent is really fine, like nylon stocking. This is the best image I could find online, but my tents typically have mesh that is so fine that you can barely see the holes.

Someone in the silver taco in our group, got scared on Saturday night when the winds were 15 mph, and it looked like it was raining out at sea.. So we all packed up in 10 min, and went back to the main entrance. We parked next to the bathroom and 2ft from the dunes, and the bugs were bad. But with the wind, it was not bad at all! Other people were complaining, but I had a fan. I was also complaining, but its because I used SPF4 tanning oil, instead of SPF100 like everyone else :bananadead: And now Im medium rare - brown with some pink/red.

Thursday night we camped next to the dunes and there was no wind at all. Not even the breeze from a mosquito fart. I had my fan going but the battery died. Those tiny ass no-see-um bug got through the mesh and tore us up. We are still itching from it. That's why we moved down to the point on Friday night. Breeze and no dunes = no bugs.
