2 5/16 bolts, washers, butterfly screws on each holder. They go through the predrilled holes in the holder (had to drill them out to widen them) and through the mounting holes in the kb voodoo bars.

Here is mine, I used some 1 inch square box tube, some bed rail mounts and made these cross bars. I then put some cheap foam fishing rod holders onto the bars. I have a long bed, the small rod fits just fine, the bigger rod sticks out of the soft topper about a inch. I can take the big rod down to 2 parts if I wanted and I could then close the top.

My son just has one of those little kids poles, so his fits anywhere (he likes to hold it in the back seat). Since just me and him fish, this holder works great for us. I do plan on getting another set of these for the other side of the truck so I can fit 6 poles for when he gets older. As bonus points, I have some plano storage bins that fit onto this little rack that we can keep the rest of our stuff in to keep it from rolling around in the back.

1/8 aluminum flat bar\stock and PVC. Plastic primer'd the PVC and then hit it all with bed liner. Tonneau cover clears

Are you towing anything in the rear? Why not through that on the rear hitch? Maybe I’m missing something but your setup looks a little dangerous hahah doesn’t that block your view??

No sir, I don't drive loaded that way on the highway lol. That's the setup when I'm at the beach. It's easy to move from one spot to another looking for fish without having to worry about storing or disassembling them to move to different spot.

The picture below shows how I drive on the main roads. It is not danger at all. I've been doing it for over 20 years as you can see on my avatar with my old truck.

And just for fun, yes! I used the back hitch receiver as well like shown on my older truck. That was back in the days where there were no Yeti ice chests, so we used big ice chest to store as much ice as possible so it can last for several days in Texas heat at the beach.

Little bolts threw. Got Metal pipe hangers at Home Depot. Worked like a charm. Forgot the size though. Same size as cargo bar it that helps at all lol
If you zoom you will see three on bar that we’re not used at the time of the picture. Hope that helps

Dern, I wish I was a little closer to the beach!
These pics are impelling me to go to surf fishing again soon.
I was scheduled to go to Fla two weeks ago until they started closing things due to the virus. I'll be going soon I hope.
A lot of nice set ups in this thread! I transport mine on the roof rack in a big tube that looks like a bazooka.
I'm attaching a pic at the beach just cause everybody likes pictures.

So, I have two different options:
    5C15F854-3BE2-4DBB-99F2-98DA11D7F8BE.jpg
I made the brackets and powder coated them black. Issue is that these don’t hold baitcasters that good. So now I go with this route:

Rhino Rack rod and ski holder on my Uptop roof rack. Nice and secure and I have more room in my bed for other shenanigans.

You better believe it. But all honesty, not too bad. I don’t keep the rod holders on all the time, so I barely notice.
