Brake warnings

I got in and started driving and noticed a “brake override malfunction visit your dealer” light. Then after applying my brakes there was a little jump in my pedal and the ABS light/warning cane on. Any ideas?

 

Were you pressing the brake pedal and gas pedal at the same time?

 

Not at all. I found a few threads here after I got to work and tried the resetting by going to ignition and off 6 times then stating it back up but the codes were still there.

 

Scan it and get the trouble codes. It'll point you in the right direction.

 

So after reading some threads here I checked brake fuseWhen I got out of work. It was blown. I only had a 15 to put in its place. Any thoughts on what would cause the fuse to blow? And is leaving a 15 in there ok?

 

Sometimes fuses blow because the fuse gives up. If it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry about it. If it repeats then I'd search for the cause like something shorting or drawing a bunch of inrush current.
