TrailGear adapters. I was going to build it myself but Eric from Yotamasters ended up building the box. I talked to him because he had a few Marlin Total Input splines in stock. I wanted that for the extra strength. Since I'm auto I stayed with the stock 2.28 gears in the crawl box. Eric got me a good quote for the input, rebuild kit, and TG adapters. He also managed to source the gear driven reduction box for me. I just had him strip and rebuild the box. It ended up only being a few hundred more. Plus I was able to go fishing instead of spend 5 hours rebuilding it. lol

I had Rory from Rad Design send me a twin stick shifter set-up for the rear case. He makes them they just aren't listed on the site. I don't have a body lift and didn't really want triples. Having the stock crawl box stick and twins on my stock case works better for me. I sacrificed a cup holder but it works well for me.

I've said this a lot on various sites. It's been 3 years with that TG box. I've wheeled the shit out of it. It doesn't leak and I've had absolutely zero issues with those Chinese parts. Plus, they where in stock. Imagine a company that actual has the products they sell? Yeah, no regrets at all.

If you wheel even close to hard it will be a game changer. There's so much control it makes most situation way more relaxing. Sure, you could still roll but it's gonna be really slow. lol

Has anyone been up to Bowman recently? Haven't been in years but thinking about taking my buddy up to do some fishing. Was wondering what the road up was like now. He has a 5 lug so need someplace that's pretty easy going.

#blownoutBowman? You could take a Geo Metro there now (but everyone else does too). Be prepared for a total cluster, and plan extra time for people parked on the trail.

Has anyone been up to Gold Lakes Campground/Sierra Buttes Lookout recently? I was thinking of doing a trip to Gold Lakes Campground from Sierra City via Butcher Ranch Road but I want to make sure it's doable in a stock 4wd first gen.
