Ha! One of those documentaries was where I first saw a roof top tent. Looked weird seeing a tent on top of the vehicle with a ladder up to it. Made sense... with lions, tigers, and whatever else around. Then I started hanging out here. Huh. Whaddya' know.

No idea how long the double sided tape will stick when the cabin is deathly hot, but airbag logo overlay from AJT Design.

Finished up the roof light bar install by cutting the wind fairing to size instead Of buying the one with the cut out and still having to cut to size.

What year did this come with. I was never told about this, and have never received any notices from Toyota. But if big brother is snooping on my driving/truck, then count me out as well. I done gave up enough freedoms already, trying to keep what little is left. Mine is a 2019 TRD OFR 4Dr Short bed. Thanks.

Like 30 minutes. Worst part is getting the nut on the top bolt you drill. It's behind a support piece and I have big hands.

Installed the MESO gas cap holder. Which took all of two minutes, including finding the screwdriver on my garage workbench. :)

    Neat little accessory.

Didn't need it, but wanted it.

WOW !!! I paid $435 for my Depo headlights around 2.5 years ago. I like them and they have had no issues but for $1200 you could probably find a good pair of actual Pro headlights. That is crazy money.

Ehhh...that depends on the situation...varies state to state... really murky big brother $hit going on with those black boxes. In some states - certain specs like speed, application of brakes, erratic movement (yeah - they have accelerometers in there) etc. is considered "information on vehicle performance". Basically, if they aren't gathering information like video, audio, and GPS location - it's fair game for both insurance companies AND law enforcement to use. In other states -you're 100% correct - a warrant is needed to get ANYTHING the public can't get. 4th amendment laws (though it's constitutional law/federal) are sketchy at best when states, counties and municipalities start to add local ordinances to the mix. I've seen things vary damn near 180 degrees in opposite directions from one state to the next. You could fight it, but who has the time/ money to go through an appeals process that will likely have to go to the SCOTUS for a constitutional opinion. Yeah - we gave big brother a bit too much leeway for my taste. CRAZY.
